Why a Network?
The goal of our collaboration is the strengthening of each individual ministry and the expansion of CHE ministries worldwide. We are networked together for mutual support to share useful ideas and best practices, encourage each other, coordinate efforts, and optimize the use of limited resources.
What are the benefits of being part of the Network?
The network provides a large pool of resources from which all members draw. By coordinating our efforts with a determination to build up each other's ministries and expand the CHE movement, we gain access to ideas and resources. We also create new opportunities to do together what no one of us could achieve alone.
What does the Network offer to those just getting started in CHE work?
Through the network, those who are interested in starting a CHE program can get training, curriculum, and connection with experienced people in their area or region for encouragement and mutual support. What principles govern relationships in the network?
Relationships in the Network are:
- Collaborative: Not controlled by any one organization, but guided by shared vision and values.
- Impact Focused: Intended to produce better results in the communities we serve.
- Enabling: Concentrated on giving access to ideas and resources.
- Mutually Transforming: People learn from each other and individuals and agencies change simultaneously.
- Synergistic: Facilitating a combined action greater in total effect than the sum of individual efforts.
How can I join the Network?
CHE members have completed TOT I, the first phase of CHE training. You may sign up for the Global CHE Network here. CHE members will have access to Member Resources and will receive occasional CHE Network newsletters. Please confirm that you have taken TOT I, and let us know if you are working in a Creative Access area.

The purpose of Community Health Evangelism work is not just preventing disease, breaking poverty, or planting churches, though all of this is accomplished. The real goal of our work is a transformation in lives and communities that is as deep as the human heart, and as broad as the whole range of the human experience in the world God made.
We want Jesus to be recognized as Lord over all creation, and our development activities to reflect the depth and breadth of the kingdom of God. We are asking God to work in us to make us followers of Christ, and through us to transform beliefs and change behavior so that his peace, justice, compassion, and righteousness are reflected in the life of the communities we serve.
