Health Screening & Education is an innovative approach for churches, communities, and short-term medical teams. With a combination of health screening and participatory teaching, along with a Health Fair for children, adults and children learn how to prevent major health problems such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and many types of cancer.
This approach, based on World Health Organization standards, was developed by the Health Education Program for Developing Countries. Go to http://www.hepfdc.info/Health_Screening.html for more information, illustrations and other resources.
