Our goal is to set up disability models in CHE programs globally and facilitate transformational ministry among the disabled.
Over 1 billion people have some form of disability with over 80% of people affected by disabilities live in developing countries, and this combination means they are very unlikely to receive proper healthcare, education, or employment. It is rare for them to receive the assistive devices they need, such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, or prosthetics- and many of them are shunned by their communities.
The image to the right profiles some of the contributing factors to be addressed.
Community Health Evangelism (CHE) is used throughout the world to combine evangelism with crucial health education and life skills, leading to transformed lives. People with disabilities learn how to live sustain-ably through an easily adaptable curriculum that can be understood regardless of literacy level.
